The tradition of Christianity as a constellation of symbols, belief, metaphors, institutions, and peoples is two millennia old and has matured through the ages, but now it is apparently reaching at a crisis point. Followers by the thousands have abandoned traditional Christian forms and beliefs and many are seeking new ways of following its Master. This is a time of rediscovery, recovery and renewal. Much is at stake.
This study completed over five weekends during 2014-2015 is an intense exploration of the changes in motion, but also the forms of life and thought that are emerging. We are in search of concrete ideas, and perhaps even more importantly, spiritual practices that will ground our faith in a great cosmic and universal vision.
