The Mysticism of Jesus…a weekend teaching in Ann Arbor, Michigan
Join us for a weekend teaching beginning on Friday, December 1 at 7 pm, and ending Sunday, December 3 at noon as Lynn C Bauman, PhD., introduces new material and provides a deepening awareness of who Jesus was and what he taught as a first century Jewish mystic. We will explore the newly discovered stream of mystical tradition that became the context of Jesus' wisdom and the context of his teaching, practice, and prophetic vision.
SAVE THE DATES! Announcing the 2018 Annual Gathering of Monks and Friends of the Order
Annual gathering of monks and friends of the Order will begin the evening of Wednesday, May 23, and end at noon on Sunday, May 27, 2018. The Gathering will be held at the Oblate Center in San Antonio, Texas. More details on registration and program will be available in early 2018. This was the earliest date available, future gatherings will move back to the February time-frame.
2017 Pilgrimage to Spain and Morocco
From November 2 through 18, OOOW monks and friends pilgrimage to Southern Spain and Morocco (Madrid, Toledo, Granada, Seville, Cordoba, Rhonda, Fez and Casablanca), places where Muslims, Christians and Jews lived together peacefully for nearly 800 years. The visit includes visits to cathedrals, mosques, synagogues, and other cultural attractions. Monk Hermann Vigil is coordinating this pilgrimage. Trip closed to new pilgrims September 2.
