The Gathering included keynote presentations by Abbot Lynn on “Chaos, Prophetic Beauty, and the Abrahamic Vision” and by Abbot Blake on “The Contemplative Work of CG Jung: How he discovered his soul during a time of personal and collective upheaval”, and “Jeremiah and the Chaos of God” by Priest Jim (Kennedy). Monk Alison also presented, “Personal and Communal Stability in Times of Chaos”.
Small group workshops for contemplative growth included “The Hanged Man” with Monk Sally, “Forest Dwelling” with Abbots Ron and Karen and “Use of the Breviary” with Abbot Lynn.
Handouts from all sessions and audio files of most session are embedded in the attached pdf document and archived on the website.
The Gathering included keynote presentations by Abbot Lynn on “Restoration of Right Brain Christianity” and by Abbot Ann on “Spiritual Wisdom in Aging and Dying” as well as “Abrahamic Convergence: Pilgrimage to Spain and Morocco” with Abbots Ron and Karen.
Small group breakout session were held on the topic of Right Brained Christianity including “Jeremiah and the Prophetic Voice” with Jim Kennedy, “Psychological Type and Right Brain Contemplative Practices” with Abbot Blake Burleson, and “First Temple Theology: Imaging the Cosmic Temple and the Temple of the Human Being” with Abbot Lynn and Michael Sciretti.
Saturday afternoon “Praxis Tune Up” included small group breakout sessions on contemplative prayer, walking the labyrinth, praying the rosary and new contemplative chants. Handouts are available for all sessions and audio file of the contemplative chant session is available.
Saturday evening ordination service and Sunday morning “Matters for Discussion” (including Huaco Priory planning, visit of Margaret Barker in Oct 2018, future pilgrimages, availability of the breviary, update on Epiphany Today, and financial status and future needs) audio files are also available
